Sprout & Flower is a real bricks and mortar shop!

We opened in September 2011 in the tiny town of Mere, Wiltshire which is nestled between the Wiltshire Chalk Downs and The Blackmore Vale.

The A303 travels right past Mere on its journey from London to Devon and Cornwall.

Mere is just
minutes from NT Stourhead and a few miles from the amazing Hauser & Wirth Gallery at Bruton, Messums Gallery in Tisbury, The Newt near Castle Cary and magnificent Gold Hill in Shaftesbury.

Mere makes a fantastic stop off on your journey to or from The West Country for provisions, flowers and a great coffee.

We are fundamentally a Florist & Greengrocers shop and a whole lot more.

Our flower stand is always brimming with fresh blooms and bunches, bouquets and wraps are always available.

We pride ourselves on the taste and freshness off our (mostly package free) fruit & vegetables - local when in season, British nearly always and the finest imported products.

In 2023 we became waste free everything we produce is reused, recycled or up cycled - absolutely nothing goes into landfill.

Our Quirky shop is well loved by locals as well as travellers. We opened a coffee bar within the shop in 2017 which complemented our already growing range of cakes, slices and pastries and sandwiches all from our local makers & bakers.

From not many miles away we offer fresh Bread & croissant, Trout products, Charcuterie, cheeses and dairy products

We stayed open all throughout the lockdowns with our door swung wide and an airy shop it has been a safe haven for many to shop and a hub for our community.

We added a Household Products refill station and Mere's first Milk Station three years ago and are still delivering our amazing fruit & veg boxes and flowers over three counties.

We are huge supporters of other small shops and businesses and hope you will be too - we need to keep our High Streets and Towns and small businesses alive and thriving.

We hope to see you soon...
